Plastination / silicone preservation of biological species by Robert Henry, DVM introducing Dr. Carlos Baptista.
Robert Henry, DVM
Silicone is the choice material for Dr. Robert Henry, DVM, in his biological species preservation work. Dr. Henry replaces the decomposing water and fat elements in the specimens with silicone, preserving them from the otherwise natural bacterial growth and decay.
Dr. Henry has retired, but we are thrilled to introduce Dr. Carlos Baptista with University of Toledo Medical School. Dr. Baptista brings years of experience training future physicians in Gross Anatomy and who better to follow in Dr. Henry's footsteps. For further assistance with products and this process, please contact Dr. Baptista at carlos.baptista@utoledo.edu
